About GreatLand Media

Located in Anchorage, Alaska, gateway to the last frontier, GreatLand Media is owned and operated by Leslie Martin.

Leslie has long had an interest in audio, ranging from old-time radio style audio theater programs, to audio books, to music.

His favourite old-time radio and audio theater is the Jack Benny show. His favourite audio books include titles by James Herriot, and books about WWII, particularly those focusing on the aviation aspects of the war. His musical favourites include artist such as Glenn Miller, Gentle Giant, John Klemmer, and Rick Nelson, and Star Trek orchestral soundtracks.

Leslie is a graduate of the Podcast Engineering School under the instruction of audio engineer and music producer, Chris Curran. He also studied audiobook narration with award winning narrator, Sean Pratt.
